Since 1878
Pastificio Paone was founded in Formia in 1878. Over 145 years of pasta, family and passion for quality.
Pastificio Paone was founded in Formia by Vincenzo Paone, a pioneer of pasta production in the region. Among the first local industrial plants, it combined an artisan soul with the strength of innovation from the very start. Selected grains and pure mountain water gave rise to a pasta of the highest quality.
During the twentieth century the Pastificio grew, introducing new technologies while never sacrificing the artisan quality established by its founder. Even through two world wars, the company demonstrated strength and continuity, overcoming challenges thanks to the dedication of the Paone family and their collaborators.
In the post-war period Paone accompanied Italy's growth by investing in modernisation and expanding its range. Between the 1950s and 1960s Paone pasta crossed national borders, establishing itself in European and international markets with new shapes and production processes.
Today Paone continues its journey under the management of Corex SpA. Investments in technology and sustainability strengthen its presence in international markets, while preserving the founding values: quality, authenticity and passion. A story over a century long, with its gaze firmly on the future.
Only selected, traceable semolina — from field to plate. No compromise on raw materials.
The bronze die gives the pasta a rough, porous surface that clings to every sauce.
Long times at low temperatures: the pasta retains proteins, aromas and the grain's natural structure.
Respect for the environment at every stage of production. Organic, short supply chain, responsible packaging.
